Had a great day networking with over 100 people from arts organizations all around Metro Vancouver.
So wound up two of our Community Arts Vancouver Eco-Arts volunteers wound up having a two hour meeting afterwards (crab cakes and beer at Heritage Grill).
Among other more practical planning, Eryne Donahue and I are thinking about proposing an art exhibition on “Words and Birds”. Stay tuned!

Heading over to Britannia for a “mail art” workshop at 1pm. Thinking that will be my contribution to the “Green(er) Christmas) workshop – make mail art instead of cards or tags.
Browsing at the international website I am of course thinking of starting my own project.

Looking for Christmas crafts for a community project, I came across these beautiful wreaths, trees and ornaments by glass (now plastic bottle) artist Dale Wayne.
I also love the work of Aurora Robson.
