12 Days of Canadian Political Christmas

To my dismay I just learned that Rob Ford is newsmaker of the year.

I had already started a 12 days of Christmas with substituting ‘NO MORE ROB FORD” (sung with gusto and resolution) for FIVE GOLD RINGS.

Here’s my attempt at a Canadian political 12 Days of Christmas.

ON THE 12TH DAY OF CHRISTMAS
THE MEDIA GAVE TO ME …

12 FIRST NATIONS DANCING

11 SCIENTISTS MUZZLED

10 QUEERS IN SOCHI

9 PIPELINES LEAKING

8 SECURITY BREACHES

7 JUDGES OBJECTING

6 MP’s APOLOGIZING

NOOOOO MOOOORE ROBBBBBBBBB FOORRRRDDDD

4 PARTY LEADERS

3 SENATE  SCANDALS

2 GREEN  MP’s

and
REX MURPHY on the C B C.

Blue Christmas

In the past week I’ve heard of relationship endings and diseases discovered.

I’m an Artist In Your Midst

I’m going to exhibit in Artists in our Midst again this year, after a couple of years break.

Here’s the list of artists – nice to have a last name that starts with “B” so your name pops up early!

I’ll be at 2909 West Broadway – MLA David Eby has opened his Community office for the Artists in our Midst.

The Roundhouse Exhibit will be Tuesday,  April 29 – you can get a preview of all of the artists and then plan your walk, cycle or drive around Vancouver’s west side.

We Put Birds on It!

My first time at a “Trade School” workshop – and their first time doing something on the west side of Vancouver.

DavidEbyOfficeBirdsA dozen turned up and made such lovely and beautiful birds – from old milk jugs and various bits and bobs.

And I have cookies. Lots of cookies.  A neighbour just returned something and I said: let me give you a cookie! here take a couple! I have more.

On facebook find Vancouver Trade School for more photos. I’ll do this again. Definitely.

Cherry blossoms from pink lids for spring.. Must dream up something for January and February too.
